4th Annual Zeeland Zoom 5k Foot Race & Walk.

Come out and enjoy this exciting Tuesday night event downtown Zeeland! Last year’s race was a lot of fun with more than 1000 participants ZOOMING their way through the streets of Zeeland! A great event for competitors and families alike! Enjoy running through Zeeland’s historic downtown and neighborhoods. Stick around for after-race refreshments, awards & entertainment! Feel the Zeel!

In the heart of historic downtown Zeeland. Feel the Zeel.

Race Course:

The Zeeland Zoom will take runners on a fast 3.1 mile adventure through historic downtown Zeeland. The Zeeland Zoom is a professionally timed race; participants will be provided a time chip to wear on the course which will be tracked by a ChronoTrack mat to mat Start and Finish Line. Fast runners should position themselves at the front of the pack. Baby strollers and dogs are welcome but will be asked to stay out of the way of runners. Dogs must be on a leash.

Age Group and Awards
9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65 and over.

• 5K Competitive Run – male and female overall, male and female masters (40 & over), will receive $100 cash prize.

• Age Divisions – 1st, 2nd, 3rd places for each division.

**In the event that the overall winner and the Masters winner are one in the same, the Masters prize will be awarded to the second place Masters finisher.**

Directions From Grand Rapids:

Leave I-196 at Exit 55. Turn right at the signal toward M-21 (or Business Route 196 West). Continue straight west and turn right (north) onto State Street. Head up the hill on State Street to the traffic light at Central Avenue/State Street. Turn Right on Central Avenue. Head east on Central Avenue to Church Street. Turn left on Church Street. Parking is free.

Directions From Holland / Grand Haven:

Take Business Route 196 east to State Street. Get into your left lane and go through the stop light at State Street. Take the “Michigan turn” and stay in your right lane. At the State Street traffic light turn right (north) onto State Street. Head up the hill on State Street to the traffic light at Central Avenue/State Street. Turn Right on Central Avenue. Head east on Central Avenue to Church Street. Turn left on Church Street. Parking is free.

Directions From Saugatuck / South Haven:

Leave I-196 at Exit 52. Turn right onto Adams Street then left onto 96^th Avenue heading north. Continue north on 96^th (which turns into State Street) and cross over Business Route 21 (or BR 196). Head up the hill on State Street to the traffic light at Central Avenue/State Street. Turn Right on Central Avenue. Head east on Central Avenue to Church Street. Turn left on Church Street. Parking is free.
